What patients say on Google
“Unfortunately could not recommend. It started when I called to make an appointment as a new patient. I saw the reviews and thought this would be a good practice for me. I called and scheduled. Unfortunately the day of, I was not aware of a work conflict with my appointment. I called immediately three hours prior to cancel my appointment. The lady told me on the phone, that it was going to be $100 cancellation fee. I was very distraught because I was not made aware of this, especially for my first appointment. So I asked kindly, if they could waive the $100 fee because I was never made aware when scheduling. She said she would message the provider and never heard back. Today is 02/04/2026. Now, I have an appointment today at 11:00. I arrived late, because I could not find LifeStance. I called, and the call went to the two notch location, she was very kind and said it was inside the BofA. Finally made it in at 11:15, from which I was told, I barely made it at the grace period. She went back to talk to the provider and the provider said they could not see me today. My heart sank. This just seems like a very unempathetic practice. It seems like I’m always being told something or given the run around, when I asked about the $100 fee for the first appointment. She said that because I called I automatically consented to the appointment. Therefore, there was not much they could do about it, but she would message the provider again, and call to let me know. I just felt like this was extremely unethical practice, because I was never made aware of the $100 cancellation fee And didn’t sign anything until today about it. So how can you charge someone without them being aware. Screams unethical. If this is how they treat their patients. I cannot imagine how patients are being treated behind the counter. Could not recommend. I hope that someone from corporate, contacts me directly by phone. Thank you.”
“The person I spoke with was kind, considerate and respectful. She allowed me to finish my sentences and did not interrupt me even when I paused, trying to recall current issues and past traumas. The meeting happened in a timely manner, of note I was 10 minutes late and they did let me know very nicely that next time if I’m that late, they’ll have to cancel the appointment. I think that’s reasonable. I wouldn’t want them to be late when doing a visit. The appointment wasn’t long. It was a video visit and it allowed me to be comfortable in my own home and to be in a space where I was confident that I wasn’t being overheard.”
“I am absolutely disgusted with how this practice handled continuity of care. An established patient should not have to repeatedly call, message, chase different departments, and escalate through an organization just to get a timely plan when ongoing treatment is interrupted. The way this was handled caused real harm to my health, my ability to work, my business, and ultimately my income. In my experience, the situation was dangerous, unnecessary, and completely unacceptable. Policies and procedures do not excuse a failure to properly coordinate patient care. I have already escalated this internally, and I will be taking the matter further through the appropriate channels. Patients should never have to fight this hard to prevent an avoidable disruption in established care. I am beyond disappointed—I am disgusted. And medicine is the wrong type of environment for egos and power tripping.”
“I really loved the attention to detail and everything in-between with my visit today! I was able to have a video call and I didn't feel rushed or anything, I love how thorough the doctor was and how personable and caring she was! I'd definitely recommend it, make the appointment if you are looking for a sign, let this be your que! Make it! It's worth it and you will be glad you did!”
