What patients say on Google
“April 2026 update: I emailed the below “we care” email as requested below. No response - followed up twice, received one vague response, and still didn’t get assistance. It’s truly unbelievable. If this platform didn’t have the providers they do, they wouldn’t be in business. I can’t say enough positive things about the actual care team here—my therapist (Annie Old) and provider (Yasmine Aurah) are truly exceptional. They are compassionate, attentive, and have made a meaningful difference in my mental health journey. I feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for during every session, and I am incredibly grateful to have found clinicians I trust this much. Unfortunately, my experience with the administrative and billing side has been the complete opposite. Communication is often poor or inconsistent, and I’ve repeatedly encountered billing errors that take significant time and energy to resolve. These issues have at times interfered with my ability to consistently access the care I need, which is incredibly frustrating given how vital mental health support is - I have even escalated issues to the Lead Practice Coordinator, Mid-Atlantic Region (Truimellia Haynes) to no avail, leading to the termination of my care through LifeStance. It’s deeply disappointing that such a strong, skilled clinical team is undermined by administrative inefficiencies. I truly hope improvements are made on the billing and communication side, because the providers themselves deserve to work in a system that reflects the quality of care they deliver—and patients deserve a seamless experience that supports, rather than disrupts, their treatment.”
“What stands out most is their knowledge, professionalism, and sincerity. They take the time to listen carefully, explain things clearly, and apply their clinical expertise thoughtfully to each individual’s needs. I never feel rushed or dismissed. They provide the qualities that many people look for in outstanding mental health services: compassion, respect, excellent communication, clinical expertise, teamwork among providers, evidence-based treatment, and a genuine commitment to helping patients improve their quality of life. they are my last stop and trust. thanks very much for helping me....”
“My experience with my two therapist with Lifestance has been nothing short of amazing. Charlotte Chrisp, LISW-CP, is who I believe I've been needing for a long time now. I'm reassured more and more to my chances of regaining a sense of normalcy to what quality of life I have left. Scheduling is a breeze, and I am grateful that we have connected. God-willing she doesn't leave and/ or if she does, she's allowed to transfer me right along with her. She's just that good!!”
“All I have seen was a, Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner. She ask questions and put me on meds. (Same thing my primary care Dr asked, and insurance paid for the visit.) But not here I had to pay $280.00 for two visits. And I thought I was there to talk to a real therapist. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Plus the practitioner, was not very friendly, I was not at all satisfied with her attitude. Save your money and time!!!!! I went in for depression, and left more depressed. Although, the lady at desk, I believe was True (name) was great, enjoyed her attitude. Now she should have her own office!!!!!!!”
